Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

Kwon LifeMap is operated by Taeook Kwon. These Terms of Service govern your access to kwonlifemap.com and the private financial planning portal (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials and connected sign-in accounts, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable safeguards.

3. Purpose of the Service

The Service organizes user-provided household information and generates planning views, projections, and scenario comparisons. Results depend on the information and assumptions selected, may change over time, and are inherently uncertain. Projections are illustrative estimates—not promises, guarantees, or predictions of actual results.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide information you are authorized to submit and keep it reasonably accurate.
• Review all assumptions, calculations, source materials, and outputs before relying on them.
• Obtain independent professional review for decisions that may affect you or your household.
• Maintain lawful access to any account, document, or household workspace you use.
• Use reasonable security measures and sign out on shared or untrusted devices.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
• Access another household, account, or administrative function without authorization.
• Upload malicious code, disrupt the Service, evade access controls, or probe for vulnerabilities.
• Scrape, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission.
• Reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Misrepresent generated projections as guaranteed outcomes or individualized professional advice.

7. Ownership and license

Kwon LifeMap and its software, design, text, visualizations, models, and branding are owned by the operator or applicable licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of information you submit and grant us permission to process it only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service and as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for functions such as hosting, authentication, databases, and deployment, including Supabase, Vercel, Google, and Apple. Your use of third-party sign-in or services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, suspend, or modify the Service, including features and eligibility, when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes when appropriate.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that projections, calculations, assumptions, third-party data, or other outputs will be complete, current, or suitable for a particular decision.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kwon LifeMap and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill, arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a material violation of these terms, unauthorized access, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised terms here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after the updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
